What do you think?
To better understand your experiences with identity management and privacy in research and scholarly contexts, we invite you to participate in a short survey. The survey opens 8 September 2025 and runs for 10 days. Our goal is to launch a community-wide conversation about online identity and privacy that brings the voices of researchers and scholars to the forefront and informs the design of every platform you encounter in your work, whether you are a professor at a university, a student doing field work, or a citizen scientist working in your neighborhood. We will be collating responses and publishing results after the survey closes.

VerIMe and Redivis Partner on Access to Secure Datasets
Identity verification is essential to establishing trust in the research data ecosystem, particularly when sensitive data are involved. Today, this remains a perennial headache for researchers and data administrators alike, with inconsistencies across identity providers and no robust solution for the common case of researchers moving between institutions. At Redivis, we’re incredibly excited for the potential of VeriMe to break down barriers in secure data sharing and help us collectively advance the research enterprise.
